Thermal Fire Detection System (DTS) for Oil Storage Tanks
Oil storage tank temperature and fire detection system (DTS): Using a distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system, anti-static and corrosion-resistant optical cables are laid on the surface of the storage tank to safely and effectively complete this task. Based on the real-time temperature detection data of the fiber optic temperature measurement system, it can not only alarm for overheating, leakage, and fire, but also provide a basis for judging the service life of the storage tank.
Introduction to the plan

     

The oil and gas tank tank is an important means of oil and gas storage. Due to the flammable and explosive nature of petroleum and natural gas, as well as the volatile nature of light oil storage, it is not possible to use general electronic products for temperature monitoring and fire detection and alarm of storage tanks. By using a distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system and laying anti-static and corrosion-resistant optical cables on the surface of the storage tank, this work can be safely and effectively completed. Based on the real-time temperature detection data of the fiber optic temperature measurement system, it can not only alarm for overheating, leakage, and fire, but also provide a basis for judging the service life of the storage tank.
