Distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system is used as an advanced monitoring means to monitor the temperature during the solidification process of dam concrete. Dam temperature tracer leakage monitoring, dam stress displacement and deformation monitoring have shown obvious advantages over traditional monitoring methods, and are being gradually popularized and applied.

    The use of distributed optical fiber temperature measuring system to monitor dam leakage (temperature tracer method) is more sensitive and effective than the buried pressure measuring pipe and odometer, which greatly improves the probability of finding leakage channels. If the use of electric-heated armored cable to increase the temperature gradient of leakage monitoring points, it can improve the identification of abnormal leakage parts.
