The DAS system utilizes a single core fiber optic cable laid along the pipeline as a sensor, turning the fiber optic cable into a continuous microphone to monitor the sound and vibration around the pipeline in a distributed manner throughout the entire fiber optic length. Timely identify, quickly locate, and alert for abnormal sounds caused by pipeline leaks and destructive behaviors along the pipeline (such as manual excavation, mechanical excavation, etc.).
